Getreidegasse Lane: Exclusive shopping lane in Salzburg.


 
The Getreidegasse Lane is Salzburg′s most exclusive shopping lane, a busy alley famous for its many boutiques - the for Mozart′s birthplace. The house where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in January 1756 now houses a museum and - who would have guessed - a souvenir shop. Other shops in the Getreidegasse are a peculiar blend of very up-market boutiques and tacky tourism companies, alongside with traditional, family-run Salzburg companies.
