Things to Do in Bad Hofgastein

Bad Hofgastein is a year-round travel destination with very well-developed facilities: Skiing in winter, hiking in summer, other Alpine sports throughout the year. Nearby Bad Gastein has been a spa town ever since the late 19th century and offers some sights; there is a casino and a convention centre. All of the Gasteinertal Valley is very touristy, especially during peak seasons. The thermal springs and medical spa facilities are important assets of the valley, too.
