Things to Do in Tweng

Twent is a tiny village, but rather significant for the regional tourism industry: It is one of two municipalities that have a share in Obertauern, one of Austria's busiest and most happening skiing resorts. The other community, by the way, is Untertauern. Tweng itself has several hotels, but it is segregated from the tourism hub of Obertauern. Obertauern targets a young, hedonicstic and affluent audience. Tweng might be a slightly cheaper alternative to Obertauern. During the summer season, you might get a bargain deal in one of Obertauern's enormous hotels for a nice hiking or spa vacation.
